Om os/About us
Jeg hedder Trine og bor i en gammel patriciervilla i Kolding - tæt på centrum og med Marielundskoven lige på den anden side af vejen. Jeg har gennemført Dansk Kennel Klubs opdrætteruddannelse, som er påkrævet for at opnå kennelmærke. Derudover er jeg uddannet instruktør i Dansk Politihundeforening, som jeg har været medlem af siden 2002. Udover hundene er jeg så heldig at dele hus med min bedre halvdel Peter.
My name is Trine, I live in a big, old house in Kolding - close to the centre of the city but with the forest basically on the other side of the road. I'm a qualified instructor in the Danish Police Dog Association, which I have been a member of since 2002. I have also completed the breeder course in the Danish Kennel Club, which is mandatory in order to obtain an official kennel name. The dogs and I also share our lives with my better half, Peter.
Om navnet/about the name "Black Swarm"
Da Ayas hvalpe var ca. 7 uger gamle fik de besøg af Ayas kuldbror Dish. Han var lige kommet ind ad hoveddøren, da 8 små pelshajer kom stormende som en uformelig sort masse, som gjorde alt for at indsmigre sig på ham og tiltrække sig opmærksomhed. Han var en smule overvældet først, men overgav sig dog hurtigt til den sorte sværm - ja, faktisk blev det vist nærmest hans hvalpe! Da jeg senere skulle finde på et kennelnavn var navnet "Black Swarm" helt oplagt.
When Aya's puppies were about 7 weeks old, they got a visit from Aya's brother Dish. As soon as he entered the house, he was attacked by 8 tiny fur-sharks, moving as one shapeless mass of charm and attention seeking. He was stunned at first, but soon recovered and totally gave in to the black swarm - and decided that the puppies were now under his protection! When I later had to come up with a name "Black Swarm" was the obvious choice.
Vores mål/Our aims
Mit mål er at avle sunde, racetypiske hunde, med potentiale som brugshunde. Sundhed og resultater indenfor hundesport vil altid blive vægtet over udstillingsresultater. For os er beauceronen en arbejdshund og avlsdyr vil altid blive valgt udfra kriterierne om at være stabile, nervefaste, arbejdssomme og sunde både mentalt og fysisk og hunde vil ikke blive anvendt i avl, før de har vist deres værd på konkurrencebanen.
My aim is to breed healthy working dogs that live up to the breed standard. Health and working dog merits will always be paramount to exhibition results. The Beauceron is in our opinion a working dog and before considering any dog for breeding, the dog must be proven suitable with regards to mentality, working abilities and physical health.
